Lack of Options Irks TV viewers

By Charles Elmore -- Palm Beach Post, 10/25/2007

For fans like Doug Breindel of Wellington, keeping up with what football games are televised and carried on his cable system is getting about as tough as figuring out a zone blitz.

Things got even trickier when Comcast reshuffled the lineup after taking over from Adelphia for most of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

Example: Breindel formerly got ESPNU - which will carry Saturday night's Florida State-Duke game - but this fall he doesn't.

"It's not that I have the time nor the desire to sit and watch sports all weekend on TV; however, what I am disappointed in is the lack of choice made to the viewer on what he or she can watch."
