City Reps Want Cowboy Games on Basic Cable

Three El Paso city representatives have asked Gov. Rick Perry or the Texas Legislature to step in on behalf of Dallas Cowboys fans who can't get the NFL Network through Time Warner Cable.

Because the channel is not included in the basic cable lineup, subscribers won't be able to watch two coming Dallas Cowboys games.

The NFL Network says Time Warner won't negotiate on including the network in its basic cable package.
