Comcast Kicks NFL Price Higher

Rolf Boone -- The Olympian, 05/30/2007

Pro football fans who enjoy watching the NFL Network on Comcast Cable TV will have to pay a bit more to keep the network starting next month.

On or about June 14, Comcast will stop offering the network as part of its digital plus service in Thurston County but will include it in a new sports entertainment package.

There will be no change in cost and service for those who already subscribe to the package, but for those who don’t, it will cost an additional $5.99 a month, Comcast spokesman Walter Neary said.
